Room to Bloom with The Mint Museum Auxiliary – Charlotte Event Photography

Each spring, The Mint Museum Auxiliary plans, produces, and hosts the Room to Bloom Celebration, a premiere fundraiser for The Mint Museum. Since its inception over 60 years ago, this effort has contributed over $13.8 million towards The Mint Museum including funds and acquisitions for the Museum’s permanent collection. The Mint Museum Auxiliary continues to build on the legacy of outstanding and creative fundraising programs.

This years perennially sold-out Symposium coffee, lecture and luncheon was held at the Charlotte Country Club which hosted 500 guests and featured a silent auction and book signing. Mark Sikes is an esteemed interior designer known for creating beautiful and timeless interiors that embody an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. He has a talent for mixing American and European, traditional and modern and new and old sensibilities. The author of Beautiful, All American Decorating and Timeless Style, he launched his first American sportswear collection celebrating his lifelong love affair with blue and white stripes.
